Research assistants - in all starting cities
They are in all the starting cities. You can only use it for one toon per account at a time. It also seems to upgrade only one level at a time (might be good news for sages/alchemists/jewelers for making adept IIIs). I noticed this when I logged in my warden to see if it was one toon per account or one spell per toon per account. When I tried to upgrade one of her spells I got a notice about one spell already being researched (for my main) so I decided not too of course. I also then saw that the warden could only get max adept 3 and some were only adept 1s... well the assistant only does one level at a time. Even for a level 26 spell it would take about 26 days to make the spell whereas for a level 14 spell it would be one day. I don't know about you, but I will be putting my sage and alchemist to work to make my alts adept 3s. It is worth the wait for most masters, but to simply get an adept 3? I am not so sure about that one.
